Alessandro Bastoni, born on February 27, 1986, is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Italian club Inter Milan. He has been one of the most prolific scorers in Serie A during his time at the club and has earned him the nickname "The King of the Ball".
Bastoni began his career with Bologna in Italy before moving to Serie A club Genoa in 2004. He made his debut for Genoa in the 2005-2006 season, scoring two goals in four matches. However, he was soon called up to the senior national team for their friendly match against Argentina.
In 2007, Bastoni moved to Italian side Sampdoria where he played until 2009. In that period, he scored 24 goals in 60 appearances for Sampdoria, which placed him among the top goal scorers in Serie A. Since then, Bastoni has continued to contribute to Juventus' success. He has scored over 100 goals for the club in total, making him one of the most successful strikers in Serie A history.
